From December 14th 2007 it will be mandatory to include an Energy Peformance Certificate (EPC) in the home information pack for homes of 1 bedrooms and above.
The Energy Peformance Certificate will rate the home from A-G. The certificate will also offer advice on how to save energy around the home. If advice is followed the householder could cut their energy costs by up to £300 per year.
For the first time House Buyers will have clear advice on the energy rating and running costs of a property.
We will be offering a service providing Energy Peformance Certificates. Each assessment will be carried out by one of our certified assessors.
All EPCs will be produced by accredited (licensed) Domestic Energy Assessors (DEA), and in order to join an accreditation scheme a candidate must first gain an approved qualification in Domestic Energy Assessment which Urban Energy Solutions has achived.
